Business Analyst - Darwin NT

About this job

The Business Analyst will provide assistance with the establishment and ongoing support of the large agency hub. The Business Analyst has responsibility for monitoring, tracking performance, identifying areas for improvement and report against operational KPIs.

You will contribute to delivery of the agency service charter and action plan ensuring interactions and services related to clients are monitored and evaluated for client satisfaction.

You will create links between the corporate and service delivery arms of the site office and be responsible for coordinating clear and regular communications back to National Office.

You will undertake internal reviews of decisions and coordinate the regional agency’s response to complaints and feedback within the site.

Duties:

Responsibilities include:

  • Undertake analysis of regional performance against Key performance Indicators and provide advice on procedural changes as required.
  • Coordinate and undertake analysis of feedback.
  • Coordinate all site reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate internal quality assurance processes including sample audit programs and reports on service delivery quality trend analysis, communities of practice and outcomes analysis.
  • Undertake internal reviews of decisions.
  • Coordinate responses to complaints.
  • Ensure staff are following Agency guidelines and operating procedures.

 

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Broad understanding and related experience and knowledge in:

o Data monitoring and analysis especially in the public sector; and

o Generating reports.

  • Experience collecting and analysing data and identifying areas for improvement.

  • Developed communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain networks.

Qualifications:

Qualifications or experience in data collection, analysis and/or statistic collections.

Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates and dependent on the role the appropriate working with children and/or vulnerable people checks may need to be undertaken as per State Legislation.
