We are working with a well-established, Aboriginal-controlled organisation delivering large-scale investment and funding programs across the Northern Territory.

With a strong focus on economic, social and cultural outcomes, the organisation works directly with communities and businesses to support sustainable development through investment and enterprise.

We are seeking an Investee Relations Officer to support the management of investee relationships and contribute to the delivery of investment outcomes.

About the Role

This is a relationship-driven role with a clear commercial and investment focus, working with organisations that have received funding or investment support.

You will:

  • Act as a key point of contact for investees, responding to enquiries and maintaining ongoing engagement
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, communities and businesses
  • Monitor investee progress, performance and compliance with agreed terms
  • Support due diligence activities, including gathering and analysing business and financial information
  • Assist in evaluating business proposals and investment readiness
  • Coordinate reporting, documentation and stakeholder communication
  • Identify risks or issues and escalate where required
  • Support meetings, forums and engagement activities

About You

You bring a balance of stakeholder engagement capability and commercial awareness, with the ability to understand and work within an investment or funding environment.

You will bring:

  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, program delivery, finance, lending or investment environments
  • Experience in commercial lending and/or impact investing (debt and equity)
  • A practical level of commercial acumen, including the ability to interpret financial information and assess business performance
  • Analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and relationships
  • Sound judgement and confidence to follow up on performance and outcomes
  • The ability to work sensitively across diverse stakeholders and contexts

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in business, finance, commerce, economics or a related field
  • NT Driver’s Licence
  • National Criminal History Check and Ochre Card (or ability to obtain)
  • Willingness to travel to regional and remote locations
