Waste Transfer Station Plant Operator
All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are urgently recruiting for a Plant Machinery Operator for a Waste Transfer Station – in the Palmerston/Litchfield areas. This is a casual role; working on a roster.
To be considered for this role, you need to be available for an immediate interview/start; and you must be physically fit and ideally have experience in the waste management industry, with knowledge of problems and solutions associated with the operations of a Waste Transfer Station.
Immediate Start

Full time hours (38 hours per week)

$36.85 per hour

Rotating rostered shifts over a period between Monday to Sunday
You will be responsible for:

Undertaking daily operations, including;
-
Provide courteous customer service including guidance for offloading of waste
-
Utilise plant and equipment to ensure safe and efficient disposal and stockpiling of waste and recyclable materials

Maintaining work areas in a safe and tidy manner
-
Provide high level of expertise in the operation and maintenance of machinery and equipment
What we need you to have to be successful in this role:
-
Competent in the use of a Backhoe, Bobcat and Frontend Loader.

Hold a Forklift Licence

Holder of a current C Class Driver’s Licence
-
Must have received all 3 Covid-19 Vaccinations

Be a holder of, or ability to obtain, a current NT Construction Industry Health and Safety
-
Induction (White Card)

A current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)
