All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are looking for skilled Boilermakers with experience in structural, maintenance of fixed and mobile plant and a broad range of general fabrication is essential.  The successful applicant must pass a weld test for this position.

Key Accountabilities:

• Read drawings, work orders and production schedules to determine product or job instructions and specifications.
• Hands on position to operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal using gas shielded metal arc.
• Examine work for defects, and measure with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications.
• Set up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment, grinders and carbon rod gauging.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment and/or defective materials or products and notify supervisors.
• Oversee junior trade’s persons and apprentice’s workmanship and provide direction
• Work in conjunction with Workshop Supervisor to oversee workshop operations to ensure production is completed on time and produced with quality outcomes.
• Team leader for projects

Essential Criteria

• Trade qualifications in Welding / Boilermaking
• Physically fit with good hearing, vision, good coordination and manual dexterity.
• Flexible and cooperative team attitude.
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience working in detailing, mechanical and structural fabrication.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems
• Proficiency in all welding processes e.g. MIG, TIG etc
• Ability to work unsupervised in workshop environment
