Based in remote location of the Northern Territory 520klm east of Darwin with 3000 residents. The Health Services is seeking an experience Administration Officer to provide admin assistance in the coordination of the provision of timely and culturally appropriate. Visiting and Speicalist Services, which includes Case Conference, Telehealth and Outreach Visits.
-Willing to relocate and reside in community (relocation assistant provided)
-$67,105 + Superannuation (annual salary increment of 3%)
-6 weeks annual leave + 17.5% leave loading and Travel Allowance of $6,000 per year
-Salary package up to $15,900pa + $2,650pa on meals/entertainment
-Fully subsidised shared accommodation provided

Role:
- Admin support of visiting special services program
- Active collaboration with VSS Nurse to ensure efficient systems are in place
- Coordinate bookings and logistics
- Organise VSS provision via appointment invitation system
- Develop good knowledge of patient’s data system
- Liaise and collaborate with the Aboriginal Community Health Workers

Selection Criteria
- Relevant qualification in related areas
- Proven administration experience in health or related fields
- Exemplary communicating skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and establish systems, processes and procedures
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and familiarity with patients’ data systems (i.e. communicare)
- Current drivers licence
- Satisfactory criminal history check
- Current NT working with children’s clearance OCHRE CARD
- Understanding of Aboriginal cultural or a willingness to learn and capacity to live in a remote Aboriginal community
Desirable
- Experience working within an Aboriginal Medical Service
- Experience living in a remote area
- Demonstrated ability to engage and work effectively within a remote community
