Information about the Division

The Departments work is focused on the on the administration, operational delivery and sustainability of land tenure arrangements, including facilitating economic opportunities. The OTL’s work requires a collaboration with Aboriginal Traditional Owners and other key stakeholders including sublessees, community members, commercial operators and governments.

 Description of the role

The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, organisation and management of various minor infrastructure projects to be delivered by the Department in remote Northern Territory Communities. You will be tasked with responsibility for the effective management of all phases of projects from initial establishment to handover and project closure, within budget and deadline.

The position of Project Manager is responsible for:

Project administration - Planning, organising and managing minor infrastructure projects to ensure delivery is within deadline and funding allocations. Establish budgets, forecasting expenditure, preparation of procurement and contract documentation.

Stakeholder engagement - Using high-level communication and interpersonal skills to manage contractor relationships to achieve project outcomes.
