Marketing & Communications Coordinator

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services is urgently recruiting for a Marketing & Communications Coordinator for an immediate start until 30 September with potential for extension.

You will be working for a national Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation with its head office in Darwin. The organisation delivers National Indigenous Suicide Postvention Service programs, Virtual Mental Health Supports and Standby Support after suicide programs. Staff are located across Australia in Geelong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Port Augusta, Port Lincoln, Perth, Carnarvon, Darwin. The organisation provides critical services and supports to individuals, families and communities impacted by suicide and other fatal traumatic incidents.

This is a new, exciting role that provides opportunity to build a portfolio of experience across a broad range of areas.

  • Flexible location
  • $65,000 - $80,000 depending on experience
  • Salary packaging available ($15,900 per annum plus meals & entertainment)
  • Full Time Hours

You will be responsible for:

  • Updating, managing and monitoring the organisations website, including managing any queries received through the website and directing to appropriate personnel for handling.
  • Maintaining, developing & posting articles on social media. (Instagram, Facebook and Linked In)
  • Preparation of monthly newsletters.
  • Maintaining stakeholder information.
  • Preparation and layout of the Annual Report. (and ensuring design and printing)
  • Development of brochures and marketing materials.
  • Preparation of Reports to the Board on data analytics for the social media sites & stakeholder engagement activity.

What we need you to have to be successful in this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field (communications and/or journalism).
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role.
  • High Level computer literacy skills.
  • Excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Be able to interact within a culturally diverse work group.
