ICT Program Manager

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking an experienced ICT Program Manager for a temporary role for approx. 12 months with possible extension.

• Carseldine location

In the role of Program Manager, you will manage the overall program of multiple complex business, information, application and technology projects. This includes engagement with other business units on strategic project directions, management of change processes, assignment and management of program and project managers and the coordination, establishment and monitoring of cost systems for programs and projects and operational support activities.

Duties:

• Lead and manage program and project teams, managing the workload and resources, and achieving performance objectives and cost recoveries.
• Regularly report on and highlight risks and issues to the Director that could impact the timely delivery of key milestones in programs and projects.
• Partner with other Information Technology Branch (ITB) units to ensure that a holistic view of requirements and solutions are achieved in the delivery of programs and projects undertaken.
• Liaise with other members of the management team on the implementation of approved project management methodologies and provide feedback on the appropriateness of those methodologies.
• Proactively manage and supervise all aspects of staff performance management, including recruitment and selection, appraising and developing staff, ethical behaviour and decision-making.

Requirements:

• Appropriate tertiary and/or post-graduate qualification in Business and/or Information Technology.
• Experience working with various methodologies such as PRINCE2, MSP and/or Agile Methodology.
