About the Role

Operating within the sustainable waste management industry, our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join their team in Darwin. In this hands-on role, you’ll be responsible for the servicing, maintenance, and repairs of a diverse fleet of vehicles — including cars, trucks, and other operational vehicles.

What You’ll Do

• Perform routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on fleet vehicles
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• Work autonomously to identify and resolve mechanical issues
• Maintain accurate service and maintenance records
• Contribute to a safe and productive workshop environment

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent qualification)
• Proven experience in vehicle servicing and repairs (cars and trucks)
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
