Business Systems Analyst - QLD

All Aspects Recruitment & HR Services are currently seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a temporary role until 30/1/2026.

• Carseldine location with WFH days available
• Temporary assignment up until 30 January 2026

This role is required to facilitate the development of the Business Requirements, Functional and non-functional Requirements Specifications and perform other business analysis activities for security risk reduction projects. The Business Systems Analyst will document current state process, analyse business pain points, and develop an optimised future state process that aligns with the business requirements.
The Business Systems Analyst will work closely with the Project Manager, Solution Architect, Business Application owners and Information Technology subject matter experts.

Duties include:

• Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring.
• Plan and document the business analysis approach, stakeholder analysis, business analysis activities, business analysis communication and requirements management processes.
• Engage and consult with business stakeholders for analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, business change impacts.
• Pro-actively manage the relationship with external implementation partners, in order to provide solutions that satisfy the business requirements.
• Conduct business rules elicitation, document, and confirm elicitation results and document business processes (As-Is and To-Be)
• Proactively manage, prioritise, and document business requirements and requirements traceability.
• Document business requirements specification and progress business issues.
• Specifications Development.
• Document functional specification of requirements.
• Document functional specification of interfaces.
• Document Configuration requirements.
• Other activities as directed by the Project Manager.

Highly desirable:

• Recent experience in the public sector is highly desirable.
• Recent experience in projects relating to information security, security operations, operational or security logging and monitoring, operating models, or ICT service management is highly desirable.
